My name is Jessica Lied, and I live and paint in the Northeast neighborhood of Minneapolis, MN. I love to cultivate a practice of noticing, learning and appreciating, from the grand to the everyday, that brings me so much joy! From a childhood wandering the wild woods along the South Shore of Lake Superior, to the hustle-bustle of New York City to study Painting at Pratt Institute; on-to the soulful Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville NC and now back to the Northland with a newly found perspective. With joy and gratitude, I have managed to experience so much of the most amazing art, culture and experiences this world has to offer. I hope to utilize my technical skills and my experiences learning and noticing to create fresh, relatable paintings that help people feel inspired.
